EARLY YEARS AT KNOWLESWOOD

THE FOUNDATION FOR LIFE

Everyone benefits from a quality early years education, particularly the child who will develop the 7 key areas of learning: personal, social and emotional development, communication and language, physical development, mathematics, understanding of the world, literacy, expressive arts and design. As the child progresses this also has a positive impact on the child's family, the school and society in general.

It is during the early years that children begin forming attitudes about themselves and the world in which they live. Access to good quality education at this important stage in their lives helps to ensure that these attitudes are positive and that they have firm foundations upon which to base the rest of their education.

At Knowleswood Primary School, we ensure that our pupils have the best possible start to their school life, providing them with engaging experiences that enable our children to succeed.

The links below will give you further information regarding Early Years at Knowleswood Primary School, outlining the key routines, expectations and the curriculum.
